Photos around Tuguegarao

Vargas Sports Coliseum or should I say Vargas Cockpit Arena. I regret the size and capacity of this building. It could have been a good venue for sports and social activities and not just cock derbies.

Hyundai resumes plan for Tuguegarao branch

A few years ago, Hyundai, one of the leading automobile manufacturers in the country, brought excitement to the city of Tuguegarao as it announced the construction of its first branch to be located beside Genaro's Bangus Grill along Maharlika Highway in Barangay Pengue. Hyundai actually has two (2) sales outlets for its products in the city, one (1) in Brickstone Mall and another in Rhem's Square in Carig Sur.

However, after months of activities in the site and after the frame of the branch building had already been completed, the plan fell through as the construction stopped for reasons I'm not really aware of. People waited for it to resume but no progress after more than a year.

But finally, Hyundai Tuguegarao will resume, just that it won't be located in the original site. The location would already be in the vacant lot in front of the Archdiocesan Shrine of Divine Mercy (Divine Mercy Parish). You would notice it immediately as a tarpaulin is displayed in the said lot.
